FAQs

What should I know before I start therapy?

How long does each therapy session take?

The average intake and assessment session lasts for approximately 60 minutes. Sessions following are typically 45-50 minutes. 30 minute sessions can also be scheduled at client's request.

How often will I be seen?

Frequency of appointments is based on the individual client's needs. The frequency will be determined following discussion in the initial assessment session and will be adjusted as needed as the therapeutic process progresses.

Do you accept insurance?

At this time, accepted insurances include:

  • Univera Healthcare

  • Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY

  • Independent Health

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United Healthcare/Evernorth

When more insurances become available, this listing will be updated.

What are your fees?

If utilizing your insurance, session cost is dependent on your individualized plan. Some insurance plans require a copayment, a coinsurance, or are high deductible. Insurance information will be gathered prior to establishing your intake appointment so that you may be advised of what your financial responsibility will be. It is the client's responsibility to notify therapist of any insurance changes.

If utilizing private pay, the initial intake and assessment session fee is $125. Appointments thereafter are $100. Rates subject to change at therapist's discretion.

Payments can be made via cash, credit, and HSA. A sliding scale fee can also be offered upon request.

What are your hours?

At this time, I am seeing clients either in person or via video telehealth on Monday and Wednesday afternoon/evenings as well as Saturday morning/afternoons. I offer exclusively telehealth appointments on Friday evenings as well. Exact hours are dictated by client request.
